The function of conveying a culture’s myth to its younger generation is very delicate process. Myth mixture fact and fantasy it the duty an adult reteller convey right ideas in manner children. Creating mythological retellings for children involves multi-levelled process: filtering make child-appropriate, structuring attractive format delivering content relatable kids. Roopa Pai, Indian writer children, came out with book titled Gita: For Children (2015), which retells Bhagvad Gita Mahabharata. Gita, being complex philosophies, difficult enough be explained adults. Hence, takes deeper understanding source text also psyche come work like that. objective this paper analyse narrative technique that Pai has followed order break down mythology into digestible form generation. methodology study would analysis primary text.
